This is a scarf I designed. I found the hat pattern here, she has a great site that has lots of charted crochet designs.

Ok, pls forgive my very lame attempt at writing this. I can grab yarn and MAKE ideas but writting them out is not my forte~
Tis the Season Scarf
To make this very easy to do on both sides of the chain I do my starting chain a bit differently: ch 2, sc into the 2nd ch from hook and continue in ‘row’s for as many chs as I require.I did 132 and omitted the ch 2 because of the type of ch I was using. ( I find this works well for two reasons, it’s nice and stretchy and both sides are easy to crochet into.) Pattern is a multiple of 6 + 2 if you use a regular chain.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd chain from hook, *skip 2 chs, 7 dc the next ch, sk 2 chains, sc in next chain; Repeat from * across, ending with a sc in the last chain. sc again in the ‘end’ of the chain and around on the other side then repeat this on the opposite side of the chain.
Row 2:Holding row 1 right side up, chain 4, *in the next 3 sts : 1 fpdc, 1fphdc, 1 fpsc, sk the next stitch. Then in the next 3 st do: 1 fpsc, 1 fphdc, 1fpdc, and one fptrc into the sc Repeat from * across.
Row 3: ch 1, draw up a loop as if to sc, and draw up another loop in the next st and pull both loops through, ch 1. Continue across the row.
Row 4: With right side facing, dc in each st across.
Row 5: fphdc in each st across.
Row 6: sc in each st across, ch 7 and blsc in the 2 ch from hook, sc into the next two sc of the main piece, ch 1 turn, sk 2 sc, sc in the next 7sc, turn. repeat until you have gone the entire length of the main piece and fasten off.
Repeat Rows 2-6 on the other side.
Put on fringe and you are all set!
If you need anything explained just ask and I’ll be happy to try again.
Thanks!
